Biography
Ahmed Farhan serves as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at the World University of Bangladesh (WUB). He has been affiliated with the department since 2014, having initially served as a Lecturer from 2014 to 2016.
Mr. Farhan earned his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Islamic University of Technology (IUT) with the prestigious OIC scholarship. His time at IUT was marked by remarkable dedication and a deep enthusiasm for learning. Following his undergraduate studies, he pursued a Master of Engineering (M. Eng.) at Harbin Engineering University (HEU) with the support of the esteemed CSC scholarship provided by the China Scholarship Council. This decision reflected his commitment to advancing his expertise in engineering and technology. Throughout his academic career, Mr. Farhan consistently excelled in his studies, demonstrating intellectual curiosity, determination, and a strong work ethic that set him apart from his peers.
Beyond his academic achievements, Mr. Farhan is recognized for his leadership abilities, collaborative mindset, and dedication to making a positive impact in his community. His educational journey from IUT to HEU is a testament to his ambition and determination to excel in the field of Engineering. Ahmed Farhan is the thesis coordinator for the undergraduate program. Alongside his academic duties, he is actively engaged in research and has authored several international journals, conference papers, and book chapters. His research areas encompass biomedical engineering, image processing, and renewable energy, with a particular focus on developing innovative solutions that integrate engineering principles with real-world applications.
