Short Biography:

Rumana Tasnim is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechatronics Engineering of World University of Bangladesh. She achieved her M.Sc. degree in Electronics Engineering (MSEE) from International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) and B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) from International University of Business Agriculture and Technology, Bangladesh.

She has more than 50 publications in peer reviewed international journals, conferences and books. She has reviewed a number of international journals throughout her academic career. She presented her research papers in many conferences organized in Malaysia, Japan and Bangladesh. She was also given the ‘Best Paper Award’ in International Conference on Research and Applications in Artificial Intelligence (RAAI 2020).

She acted as a Keynote Speaker in many seminars and webinars throughout her career in World University of Bangladesh. She is also the advisor of IEOM Society WUB Chapter. Her research interest includes Smart sensing, instrumentation and measurement, automation, robotics, IOT, and Renewable Energy.
