Ahmad Abdullah Mujahid is a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the World University of Bangladesh (WUB), where he brings a strong blend of academic foundation and practical industry experience. He completed his M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering through a joint program between the University of Agder (UiA), Norway, and Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET), under the NORPART-CARE exchange initiative. He also holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from CUET.
Before entering academia, Ahmad gained valuable hands-on experience in the industrial sector. He served as a Production Engineer at BSRM Wires Ltd., one of Bangladesh’s leading steel manufacturers, where he was responsible for supervising manufacturing operations and improving process efficiency. He later worked as a Research & Development Engineer at Electro Mart Ltd., where he contributed to product design, prototype testing, and process optimization in the electronics and appliance industry.
Ahmad's research interests lie in the areas of heat transfer, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), battery technology, material science, and sustainable energy systems. He has authored peer-reviewed journal articles and presented his work at international engineering conferences, focusing on applied research that bridges the gap between theoretical understanding and practical engineering solutions.
His background in both industry and academia enables him to approach mechanical engineering challenges with a well-rounded perspective, integrating innovative thinking with technical precision. Through his work, Ahmad continues to contribute to advancing engineering knowledge and promoting sustainable technological development.
