I am Taher Hasan Nakib, currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at World University of Bangladesh. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Islamic University of Technology (IUT) in 2022, followed by an M.Phil. in Thermal Engineering from the University of Malaya (UM), Malaysia in 2025.
To date, I have authored six publications, including five Q1 Web of Science-indexed journal articles and one Scopus-indexed international conference paper. My research interests span across thermal and renewable energy systems, energy storage technologies, and numerical methods, particularly those involving linear algebra and machine learning.
Research has always been my intellectual comfort zone, while teaching is a pursuit I am deeply passionate about. One of my mentors once told me, “Teaching should be a thing of passion; getting good at it, that should be the job.” I hold this belief close and strive to embody it in my academic journey.
