Biography
I am Tarazul Mulk Syed Anzam Hossain, currently serving as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at the World University of Bangladesh (WUB). With over 38 years of active involvement in higher education, I bring a wealth of experience, academic depth, and a lifelong dedication to teaching and research.
I hold a Bachelorβs degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Rajshahi (RU), and both a Masterβs and a Ph.D. (result published) in Glass and Ceramic Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). My academic journey has fostered a multidisciplinary perspective, which I consistently integrate into my teaching methodology and research endeavors.
At WUB, I play a vital role in curriculum development, academic supervision, and the mentoring of undergraduate students. My research interests span a broad range of advanced topics, including Advanced Ceramics, Nanomaterials, Sustainable Materials, and Nuclear Materials. I have contributed to several key publications and conference presentations, aiming to expand the frontiers of knowledge and promote practical innovations in materials science and engineering.
Beyond my academic responsibilities, I am actively engaged in institutional development through participation in academic committees, curriculum planning, and community outreach initiatives. I am a firm advocate of student-centered learning and remain dedicated to nurturing critical thinking, ethical values, and innovation among future engineers and researchers.
In the long term, my vision is to contribute meaningfully to academic excellence, research innovation, and the technological advancement of Bangladesh through committed scholarship and educational leadership.
