Biography
Md Hosne Mobarak, mostly known asĀ Sarfraaz, has been recognized for his commitment to excellence and thirst for knowledge throughout his academic journey. He successfully maintained theĀ first position out of 58Ā in his class throughout his undergraduate studies securingĀ CGPA 3.88Ā out 4.00. Furthermore, achievements such as being on theĀ Deanās ListĀ and receiving theĀ Academic Excellence AwardĀ multiple times demonstrate his dedication and focus. Winning the $4800Ā ASHRAE Grant ranks among his most significant academic accomplishments. As theĀ TecHVAC 1.0Ā ā Project Showcasing Competition winner, he can use his educational understanding in the real world and display his problem-solving abilities. In addition, Mr. Sarfraaz was awarded the Prof.Ā Dr. M. Alimullah Miyan Scholarship, the Engr. Shamim Ahsan Mohebullah Scholarship, and securedĀ first positionĀ in both theĀ 11th and 12th National Undergraduate Mathematics Olympiads Intra-University phaseĀ held in 2020 and 2022, respectively, for his outstanding performance.
As an aspiring researcher, Mr. Sarfraaz is deeply invested in the development of the engineering industry. His current research projects and publications demonstrate his enthusiasm for discovering novel and environmentally friendly applications of nanoparticles. To this date, Mr. Sarfraaz worked on over 25 papers onĀ nanomaterials, additive manufacturing, semiconductors, machine learning, etc.; among them, 16 have already been published. One of his published articles, titled āāRecent advances of additive manufacturing in implant fabrication ā A reviewĀ (Q1, IF ā 6.2)āā provides a comprehensive overview of the latest developments in using additive manufacturing techniques for creating medical implants, and my latest published article titled āāAdvances of graphene nanoparticles in dental implant applications ā A reviewĀ (Q1, IF ā 6.2)āā provides a summary of the fundamental research and applications of graphene nanoparticles in dental implants, Mr. Sarfraaz's notable research work titleĀ āāAlocasia Indica Assisted Green Synthesis of ZnO Nanoparticles for Improved Anti-Microbial PerformanceāāĀ was published at theĀ IWSN 2023Ā Conference held in Russia. This paper reports the green synthesis of ZnO nanoparticles using Alocasia Indica extracts as a capping agent. Here, he characterizedĀ ZnO NPsĀ usingĀ UV Test, FTIR, SEM, EDX, XRD, TEM, and Antimicrobial TestĀ to reveal that these synthesized ZnO NPs can improve antimicrobial performance.
