Biography

Avishek Chowdhury is an accomplished researcher and engineer who holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), where his outstanding academic performance was recognized with a position on the Dean's List. He is currently advancing his expertise by pursuing an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at BUET. His academic and research career is defined by a passion for integrating AI, robotics, machine learning, and renewable energy. He possesses a strong, research-focused mindset dedicated to bridging artificial intelligence with engineering to create transformative, sustainable technologies. His hands-on research experience is extensive and impactful, including optimizing advanced systems for enhanced hydrogen production efficiency, developing AI-driven autonomous robots for environmental applications—a project which received his department's highest distinction—and engineering drone-mounted intelligent sensor systems for precision agriculture. A skilled programmer in Python and MATLAB, he has deep experience in numerical modeling, advanced material characterization, and complex simulation using tools like ANSYS, COMSOL, and SolidWorks. His contributions to the field are further evidenced by several accepted conference publications and journal articles currently under peer review.
