‘Vegatronix’, a dynamic team from the WUB Robotics Club, brought pride to the World University of Bangladesh (WUB) by securing 3rd Position in the highly competitive ‘Robo Rumble Segment’ of the 68th Annual Science Festival, organized by the renowned Scintilla Science Club.
The “Robo Rumble” segment, known for its challenging nature, drew participation from numerous universities and institutions across the country. The event was held on 13th February, 2025. Vegatronix stood out through their innovative robot design, precise programming, and strong team coordination. Their performance not only demonstrated engineering excellence but also highlighted the talent and potential of WUB students in the rapidly advancing field of robotics and automation.
This achievement is a direct example of how WUB, as a body, provides assistance for start-ups that foster and support a low-carbon economy. The advanced skills in automation, sensor integration, and efficient system control honed in competitions like this are precisely the competencies required to develop and scale clean technologies, such as autonomous energy management systems, smart recycling robots, and precision agriculture drones.
